Return & Refund Policy

Return Policy – Fresh, Fair & Transparent

We take great pride in providing high-quality garlic bulbs, seeds, and specialty products. If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within three days with a photo, and we will either issue a refund or send replacement bulbs, subject to availability.

If you need to return garlic bulbs, seeds, or other products for any reason, they must be in their original, unused condition and returned to us within 15 days of receipt. Please note:

•A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Garlic orders cannot be returned after October 1st.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the Canadian climate and the complexities of garlic farming, we appreciate your understanding and support in maintaining fair policies for all customers. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please send images iinfo@swallowtailfarm.ca

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, for example, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
We accept exchanges. You can exchange unopened items in the original packaging within 30 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you an exchange.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
